It could have been worse. Everyone was already prepared and packed to spend time at camp. It's not like we ended up lost in the woods with just the shirts on our back. As long as the weather and food hold out, it's relaxation. |

Hn. I always thought the point of going camping was to get away from technology.
It's been good weather so far, tried a few different groups. Managed to find a rock tha'ts come in really useful holding one of the tent flaps. He's a loyal pet too. Hasn't budged in two days. Ryou's taken up to calling him George. Having different schedules took some getting used to but I think we've managed tow ork it out.
What else? Lots of campfire stories. Not too many bugs, few owls at night. Probably going to check out the biology club for a day. |

Cellphone charger mysteriously disappeared. Searched through room and saw no sign of it. Eventually called home. Kaasan said she found it in my room and is going to mail it to me. It should only be a few days.

Feels as if vacation never happened. All the teachers have jumped right into their lesson plans and the homework is piling up already. It's expected really, besides it's senior year and that makes it all worthwhile. After this year, everyone's going to scatter.
Practice is going good. Lots of old faces and some new ones. It's good to see the Freshman taking such an interest. We'll probably start ranking matches sometime next week.
Looks as if kendo lessons are back to being weekends only.

Called Reiko this afternoon to work out my schedule for this year. Went fairly quicker than I thought, Fridays off finally. Looks like Saturday mornings and with every other Sunday afternoon. Now if I can get club to work out this well. |
